Get Involved

The Innovation Fund provides unique access for parents and public school advocates to become involved with community outreach efforts, serve on various committees directly leading to Fund program investments, and provide critical financial support that allows the Fund to fuel our teacher and student passions.

You are a spark that ignites innovation. We are grateful to every one of our supporters.

BE A PART OF IT

THANK YOU!

VOLUNTEER:

The BHS Innovation Fund operates with a very small staff and an extensive network of volunteers who are committed to both Brookline High School and to the cause of public education. In addition to our Boards of Directors and Overseers, we rely on critical volunteers to help us move the work of the organization forward. Volunteers help with large scale events like the annual Gala and The Big Idea, doing donor outreach, as well as smaller administrative tasks like helping with mailings and office support. Whether you have a small or large amount of time to give, we have ways to connect you into the organization.

ATTEND A BREAKFAST:

Throughout the academic year, the Fund hosts Breakfasts with the Headmaster. These informal meetings are a chance to meet directly with the leadership of both BHS and the Fund and learn how the two work collaboratively to keep the work of the Fund energetic and original. Parents are always welcome to join us. If you are interested in getting information about the next breakfast please contact us by clicking here.

MAKE A CONTRIBUTION:

The BHS Innovation Fund is 100% supported by private contributions. Each year we raise more than $500,000 to develop and implement cutting edge programming at Brookline High School. Every dollar counts! You can make a contribution by:

SERVE ON A BOARD:

Our Board of Directors
The BHS Innovation Fund is governed by its Board of Directors, a body made up of volunteers from the community and representatives of important stakeholder groups. Several members of the board are BHS alumni, and many more are parents of current or former students.

Our Board of Overseers
The Board of Overseers is an integral part of the volunteer leadership of the BHS Innovation Fund. As a group, the primary role of the Board of Overseers is to reach out to the Brookline community, Brookline parents, and BHS alumni in order to continually broaden the number of people who are knowledgeable about and supportive of the BHS 21st Century Fund.
